A stay in the country may be extended for the duration of an immigration permit application or a citizenship application. Other reasons may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The following documents are required to process an extension of stay in Ukraine:

• A copy of the client’s passport
• A Ukrainian translation the passport
• Copies of the client’s bank statements proving they can sustain themselves for the duration of their stay in Ukrainian territory
• Documents proving the client’s residence in a household
• Four passport photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm)
• A Ukrainian sponsor’s passport copy
